I am now 32 weeks. Wow. 54 days to go. Let's see what Babycenter has to say.
"By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth."[ Babycenter ]
Ugh.. she's only 3.75lbs? Where did the other 20lbs come from then?

My next doctor's appointment (because I rescheduled the last one) is tomorrow, so I'll probably update some more then for my own sake.
On with the usual stuff...
Movement: She doesn't move a whole lot more than she did before. I read somewhere that she might move less because her space is getting cramped. I bet that is true because I can almost feel her entire body sometimes, and there's never a time where I can't touch my belly and feel her somewhere. Girlfriend is getting squished in there. But sometimes she moves like crazy. Not little kicks, but more rolling over kind of feelings. I've finally felt her hiccupping a few times, or at least that's what I think the rhythmic soft movement is. It's not her heartbeating, although you can feel that, too.
As for my movement, still not always easy to get up, but not much harder than last month. I've given up my spot on the bed next to the wall, because it's easier to just throw my feet over the edge and stand up than it is to crawl to the foot of the bed for those middle of the night pee breaks.
Weight: Gained about 24lbs. The past couple of days the scale's been reading around 128.6. Once it said 129.6, the closest I've been to 130. I'm waiting to see when I actually hit 130lbs. No stretch marks yet! Mom said she got her stretch marks from me started around her 5th month. My sister has a ton from my nephew and made a hobby out of inspecting my belly the last time we were together, but there are none yet.
Clothing: Just wearing my maternity tops, new shorts, Mom's jeans, regular pjs, and the two pairs of sweatpants that aren't too tight yet. The fact that my legs and ass have put on weight is very apparent when I put on my old sweatpants. Very tight. My wardrobe feels very limited. My hoodies are getting tight and ride up in the front and my lighter jackets won't close. I have one hoodie that's still comfy and serves as my 'summer coat'. Hopefully it'll last the rest of the pregnancy.
Sleep: Sleep is usually good. Last night it was not. I had the feeling that I needed to stretch my leg, but felt like I would have a bad leg cramp if I did. I've had a couple bad leg cramps lately and I'm not welcoming another. I wake up sometimes feeling like the air is just way too hot and feeling a bit suffocating but I turn on the air conditioning in the other room and it usually makes me feel better. I still just make one bathroom break throughout the night.
Eating: I'm not used to being able to eat, but still have my stomach growling. Usually any little bit of food could tide me over for a little while. Not anymore. I need to eat a decent breakfast almost as soon as I wake up, where before I used to be able to wait an hour or so. I drink a glass of milk every night, and almost every morning. It's the only real eating routine I've gotten into.
Baby Shower: Was Sunday July 17. All my favorite people were there - my host/best friend from NB and all of her family, my other best friend from NB and her mother, my close friends who live nearby, all my family including my grandfather, some cousins, aunt, uncle and my great aunt. My step-mother and other half-sister made it. We got so much stuff that we needed. It really was a great day.
Name: We still don't have one, but I really wish we did.
