Our Professional Photos

Last week I wrote about the weekend we spent with my grandfather, when we got our pictures done. I haven't been able to pick which ones I want to order just yet, but I'll share a few here.  I think my little princess did good, for being terrified of my cousin and her husband who took the photos. 

Maybe tomorrow I'll actually post something. Who knows.

Christmas, moving, Chloe, Thanksgiving, and other random thoughts

Today, my thoughts are coming to you in fragments. 

- I didn't celebrate Thanksgiving yesterday. Thanksgiving is SO last month. Literally, since I'm Canadian. This is what we did on Thanksgiving, what I was thankful for on Thanksgiving, and my little turkey's Thanksgiving suit. 

- TGIF, simply because it's one day closer to moving day, which I am super excited for. It's Tuesday, BTW. 

- Wednesday night Chloe slept 9 hours straight. I, however, kept waking up all night for some reason. 

- My step-mother and half sister came to visit with me and Chloe Thursday night. It was a nice visit. I'm glad they got to spend time with her. 

- I found not one, but two free couches that I can pick up the day I move. They're white, and not the prettiest, but they're free! 

- I am getting so excited for Christmas. I can't wait to get moved, get my tree back, and start decorating. Even though I have a limited budget, I'm not worrying about it. I wish I could spend tons on everyone, but I can't. I got something pretty cool for my brother which is great because he doesn't normally get anything exciting.

- On a sad note, it's been a year since my grandfather has his stroke. It makes me sad re-reading that post I wrote just two days after it happened, but more than anything I'm just grateful here's still here with us, he seems happy, and he's in great physical health. I hope he keeps kicking around long enough so Chloe can be old enough to remember her old Pepe. He loves her so much. 

- Today I officially have a two-month old daughter. Her two month photos will be coming along next week. In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful photo from the other day:

Chloe's Professional Photos

A guy that B works with is a photographer on the side, trying to get his business up and running. He came over this morning to get some portfolio shots - lucky us, a free photo shoot with our girl. Our apartment is not a very easy place for photos, but the two I've seen so far are gorgeous. 

Here's my pretty girl.
