Bit of Me Wednesday { 3 }

{one} do you wear holey jeans? if so, do you buy them that way?I bought one pair that way. I thought I try something different. I wouldn't buy all my jeans like that, but I like them. Except when it's really cold out. Or when I'm not careful putting them on and my toe gets caught in a hole.
{two} do you get a full 8 hours of sleep per night?I don't mess around when it comes to sleep. I work until midnight, so as long as I'm able to I sleep 8-10 hours a night. Any less than 7 hours and I feel more tired. 
{three} what’s your favorite way to eat an oreo?I think most of the time I pull the top off, eat that, then eat the bottom + middle together. Rarely do I just bite right into it. And I'm not a milk dipper at all. 
{four} do you wear shoes in your house?Nope. The mess on the floors would be unreal. 
{five} who would you call first if you won the lottery?Whoever I knew would be available. Even when I win the lottery I'd probably still think of those things. 
{six} have you ever been in a food fight?No. I think it would be fun though, in the right place - aka not a place I'd have to clean up :p
{seven} do you snore?Apparently I do, just really really softly. Only my boyfriend has ever noticed. 
{eight} do you know how fast you type?Approximately 85 words a minute. I took typing classes in high school then again in my college course. 
{nine} can you do a headstand (without using a wall)?Nope. Can't do cartwheels or anything like that either. 
{ten} how do you like your popcorn?With dill pickle flavoring! That's my favorite thing about going to the theater. Making it at home doesn't taste the same! 

Wee Bit of Me

{one} do you collect anything? if so, what and how long have you been collecting?
Tv show boxed sets. It's an expensive collection. I started buying them when How I Met Your Mother first came out on DVD.. so a few years.

{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by?
Um.. this is not my area of expertise

{three} who would you call for bail money?
My grandfather. He wouldn't be happy at all but I know he'd take care of me.

{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid?
The fun and excitement. Like that time me and my brother found an old safe in a junk-y area by our house and went on a mission to break into it. Day after day we hammered at it trying to crack through  and we made deep holes but never succeeded. At this point, I doubt there was anything in it. Back then? The possibilities were endless.

{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures.
Trashy Cosmo magazines. I don't read them start to finish like I used to, but I still get excited when a new one comes in the mail.

{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping?
When the extra money comes around. Last year I started before October. This year, well it's November and I have nothing yet.

{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children?
Opening a new movie on Christmas eve and everyone watching it with tons of chips, chocolate, baked goods and The Dip. And baking. There needs to be lots of stuff baked, and saved for the days before/after Christmas.

{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement?
So far? Being financially independent, even if I do live with my mom right now. It's not like she's giving me a free ride - she's more like a cool older roommate that sometimes cooks for me and nags me about cleaning.

{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself?
Waxing and haircuts. I love them. I miss my short hair.

{ten} if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called?
I am not good at naming things. Plus, I'd much rather start my own hotel, and my friend can run the restaurant part, including the naming.

{one} who’s the funniest person you know?

My friend S., especially when he's showing off and picking on people. I love it. 

{two} were you a michael jackson fan?

Yes.. I loved a lot of his music. 

{three} what was your favorite book as a child?

There was one about a red caboose that I loved. Or any 'choose your own ending' books or Goosebumps. I just loved reading. 

{four} what’s the most delicious meal you’ve ever eaten?

My friend M.'s mother's lasagna. I still dream about it. 

{five} if you could eliminate on thing you do each day in the bathroom so you never had to do it again, what would it be?

Flossing. I rarely do it, but I feel bad for not doing it, so I wish it wouldn't have to be done. 

{six} if you could ask barak obama one question, what would it be?

A casual "how's it going?" in passing. 

{seven} what’s the best place near you to get a drink?

Pat & Willy's. They have a sweet drink made with Baja Rosa. 

{eight} what kind of music can you just not stand to listen to?

Heavy metal scream-o stuff. 

{nine} who and when was your first kiss?

It was 15, and it was either truth or dare or spin-the-bottle with a friend at the time. 

{ten} what 3 things do you think will become obsolete in the next ten years?

I agree with the answer CDs. Non-flat screen tvs will probably completely disappear. Maybe even books, with all the digital reading devices they're putting out. That one makes me sad though.
