I was scared to jinx it. Even now, about to talk about it, I'm scared to jinx it. Because just two days ago when I drove just around the corner to pay rent, a light came on in the dash of the car. A light coming on is never good. Upon Googling and frantic text messages to the two people who may know what it could mean, we figured out it's probably just an oil change. So an oil change I got done, and the light is gone away. It was replaced by a new light - the 'fill-up-the-gas-tank-before-you're-stuck-on-the-side-of-the-road' light. But I know how to deal with that one.
Because I'm probably about an hour away from hopping into the car and heading across a bridge to visit my best friend for the first time since her wedding in May. I am super excited.
Chloe just finished her breakfast so it's just time to get us ready and get out the door.
