Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

I put on my hypothetical apron today and brought out my bowls and measuring cups to do some baking. It was a quick reminder that I need new bowls (est. 2005) and that I'm still incredibly messy in the kitchen. Nonetheless, I wanted to share the awesomeness with you.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Cream sugar and butter:
Beat in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla:
Combine dry ingredients:
Stir into the first mixture just until moistened:
Fold in chocolate chips until well incorporated:
Pour batter into lined muffin pans:
Bake at 325° for 15 minutes:
Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and enjoy:

And they are yummy! Sometimes me baking and cooking is actually a success.
