Photo of me from 2004

Despite the events of this past week, I had a really good weekend.

I was lucky to get out of work early on Saturday. I tried to nap but was too excited about the shopping I would be doing later that evening. I bought B a few things for our anniversary. Nothing compared to the pretty necklace he bought for me.

Things have been different lately, both good and bad. Things are a little strained and awkward at times, but mostly it's just better. Spending time together feels more like spending time together, and less like just being in the same room. I miss him a bit whenever he's at work.

I actually think we'll be okay.

I got a call to see an apartment on Friday. It's $600, everything included, which sounds great to me. I felt a bit sad after call, knowing that we would be living apart, but I know it's something I need to do. If I don't, I feel like I'll regret it later on in life. I know it's hard on him, and hard for him to understand why I need to do this, but he's really supportive about it.

Sunday after work I finally got to go swimming! I've been wanting to do it for so long, so S finally came with me. It was nice, though not as great as my hot caramel sundae afterwards. Watching a movie with B afterward was nice too.

Today (day off!) was nice too. I spent most of the day with Mom, browsing around shops and trying not to spend money. Of course I fail at that, but I got some pretty nice things.

Shorts from Garage, pink shorts from Wal-Mart, top from a discount store in the mall

Scrapbooking paper I got - I was so excited to find a Thomas the Train set, since my nephew is obsessed with Thomas. I liked the Bingo one because my grandfather does nothing but go to Bingo every night, not exaggerating.

Hope your weekend was a nice as mine was!

My final high school picture, taken September 2004 - not even 17 years old yet
+ one of me from March 2010, where I am 22 years old. Haven't changed too much in 5 years.
