My grandfather is doing good. I went to visit him on the 21st of this month. No one told him I was coming so he was pretty surprised when I knocked on his door.
He immediately pointed out the picture of my belly that my great-aunt had gotten printed off for him. He's still pretty excited about my pregnancy.
He still can't say much on his own but his speech therapist gave him flash cards with words, and others with pictures of what the words are (toothbrush, hammer, money, etc) and he does great with reading and matching them. But if you simply point to the picture of the toothbrush, he can't say it on his own. He also has alphabet flash cards and knows each letter except Q. He hates Q. Stupid confusing letter.
Every little bit is progress though : )

What a great thing that you had that wonderful visit! I am happy to hear that he is doing well.
So sweet! I'm glad you are able to spend time with him. The Q thing reminds me of White Boys Can't Jump - "Foods that start with the letter Q!"

I love that he got so excited when he saw you and your belly, that's soo sweet!! I think Q is a stupid letter too.
