A Questionnaire for my Readers

A pessimist sees only the dark side of clouds and mopes;
A philosopher sees both sides and shrugs;
An optimist doesn't see the clouds at all - he's walking on them.

I feel like my life is on pause, yet fast forward at the same time. Nothing is the way I want it to be, and I'm just waiting for certain things to happen. Time is just flying by. I can't wait until things are figured out, but only time can help. I wish there was a way to speed some things up. Or to see the future, to know how this will all end up. I can do this. I just can't wait much longer.

  • Today was my last official day of training for our new front desk system at the hotel. I'm actually sad it's over. I enjoyed the people training, and all the people from the other hotels were hilarious. I've missed interacting with non-customer people. I don't do it often enough.
  • I posted a button on my sidebar, which links directly to the paypal for donations to Monkey. She is an adorable 16-month old baby girl with a form of cancer. I posted a bit more here, but if you're interested in helping out in any way, head on over to Ian's blog to get more details and become involved.
  • My first (in my life) one-year anniversary is coming up on Saturday. Sadly, I don't feel much excitement for it. We both work anyway.

or maybe she liked the idea of him."

    • My 101 Things in 1001 days now has its own blog.

In your life you meet people, some you never think about again, some you wonder what happened to them, there are some that you wonder if they ever think about you and then there are some you wish you never had to think about again … but you do.

I know this post is a little random today. My thoughts are just all over the place. I wanted to ask you guys, my readers, some questions. The more people that answer, the happier I will be.

      1. Have you ever  felt 'can't-live-without-you-never-want-to-try' in love, and what happened. Did someone end up heartbroken, or are you still living happily ever after?

      2. How many friends do you have that you could call in the middle of the night if you were upset over something little, and they'd be happy to listen?

      3. How many big life goals are you waiting anxiously for? (Graduation, wedding, career, children, retirement, lottery winnings etc)

      4. Would you say you're working your dream job?

      5. What are some activities that you get the most enjoyment out of? (Walks on the beach, partying, your first cup of coffee, anything)

      6. Tell me some of your favorite blogs! I'm looking for a few new ones to follow.

Thanks & have a great Wednesday!

Random is good. Yes, I do feel like I am working at my dream job. I am a teacher and hat might sound boring, but I love it!!!

        I'll answer a few:

Yes I've felt that kind of love...and I got my heart broken on more than one occasion.

Maybe that whole idea of "can't live without you" isn't healthy...it's like if all of a sudden you have to live without it life shuts down and that's not good.

I'm at a different stage now. I wouldn't want to live without my husband, but I would if I had to...and I would be okay. I love him completely and am grateful for every day I have with him...but I would be okay by myself too...and I think that's important.

And here are two of my favorite blogs:

        wwww.laundryhurtsmyfeelings.blogspot.com

        www.theblogocheese.blogspot.com

(If I don't have the second one right let me know and I'll try again.) :)

I will answer a few of your Q's:

•I have felt that kind of love and we are still together after 9 years and almost 5 of marriage.
•I have 3 friends that I could call and 1 of them is my sister.
•I really enjoy waking up to the sun shining thru my window, my favorite drink at starbucks and hanging out with my friends.

        Happy Thursday :)

Yes. Check out my blog for more details.

2.How many friends do you have that you could call in the middle of the night if you were upset over something little, and they'd be happy to listen?

There is 4 that I wouldn't hesitate over calling if I was seriously hurting and upset.
I would wake up in the middle of the night and take phone calls from some of the best people I know as well.

3.How many big life goals are you waiting anxiously for? (Graduation, wedding, career, children, retirement, lottery winnings etc)

I am waiting to go to Australia which I consider a big life goal ever since setting it because I'm a home-body ant it will be hard but AMAZING!
That also makes my other goal, finishing my BEd degree-official graduation in November.
        My wedding next year!
        My first full-time job.

4.Would you say you're working your dream job?

YES! Although, it's an internship and I'm not getting paid right now. It's teaching and I love it!

5.What are some activities that you get the most enjoyment out of? (Walks on the beach, partying, your first cup of coffee, anything)

I have recently started to get a lot of enjoyment out of my morning coffee at school. It's a delicious cup and a few minutes of relaxation before the kids come ruching in.
Going to the dog park, random drives with my sisters, a good book and chatting on the phone with friends.

I really enjoy the simple things.

What a super cool blog you have!!

Do you ever listen to the 10,000 Maniacs? There is a song by them that I love, "These Are The Days"

I bet you would like it!

#2 sitcks with me the most. The older I get (38 now) the fewer friends I have i can call in the middle of the night, but that is Okay! I know they would be there and also know I would always be there for them!
        Good questions!
