Maybe she took a growth spurt

I think Chloe took her one month growth spurt Tuesday night. She was not a happy camper.

She slept like normal the night before. Slept a bit again in the morning. After that? She took a few okay naps. Once it hit dinner time, she kept falling asleep but would wake up 5 minutes after being put to bed. She did that a million times, it seems. When we put her in bed, she would seem dead to the world, then all of a sudden she's crying. Lately she'd been better with crying less when I talk to her but for about an hour I could do nothing to calm her down.

Eventually she got over the crying, and went back to barely keeping her eyes open. She finally fell asleep in her vibrating chair for about 45 minutes before waking up crying - this was getting near 4am. When I picked her up she was out like a light again. I put her in bed, expecting crying in a few minutes but she slept until 9am. Hallelujah.

She's asleep now, and has been for almost two hours since I took her out for a few errands. I'm soon waking her up to eat and praying to God that we can both nap afterwards. Wish me luck.

Sounds like a growth spurt! The best way to do bath time is to keep her warm. B likes to have a wash cloth dipped in the warm water laid across his body, it makes for a much happier bath time.

Hi, I can't believe it has been a month already! She looked so cute in her photo with the tiger. Do I ever remember those crying times & sleepless nights. I sure hope she by passes colic. Sammie had that, it was very sleepless & there is little to help with the crying times.
Best wishes for a happy weekend. Are you dressing her up for Halloween?

Aw...poor little thing! I remember those days (and not fondly). I was so grateful that I had a supportive husband on those nights when I was deliriously tired and could hand my son off to his dad sometimes. Here's hoping she mellows out soon.

She is SO adorable! Thanks so much for following my blog. I am now your newest follower. Sorry, I know how rough my baby was when he was really little. I love naps! Hopefully it gets better and soon. :) Thanks again! Have a great weekend!
