Things I didn't know you could do with Jell-o

Those? Are Jell-o shots. I couldn't believe it either.

I don't know where I found the link. I was too amazed to remember, but I had to share.

If I ever get to throw a fancy party, I am making fancy Jell-o shots. They are just too cute and yummy looking. Some are alcoholic, and some aren't.

I am in love.

10 of my 'Notes to Self'

I don't know if anyone else does this, but when I'm on a computer that isn't mine, and I find a link to something I love, obviously I can't bookmark it, so I email it to myself. Later, when I check the email I move it to a folder called 'Notes to Self', and honestly that's where they sit, ignored. Some are recipes, some are awesome blog posts, some are so random.

Today I finally decided to look through the 65 emails in that folder and delete what I no longer found interesting. And? Share with you guys the 'notes' that I still love.

Curly Girl Design - All kinds of awesome goodies - jewellery, cards, magnets, wall decor. So colorful and with cute sayings. Hard to explain, but so worth checking out.

Connect 2 Game - I found this game back in October but I loved it so much that about two weeks ago I played it for hours at work for days. I've never gotten past level 4 or 5 though.

Cookie Cake Pie Recipe - I may never try this crazy recipe, but if anyone does, please blog about it. I'd love to see one.

Tutorial: How to Save & Size Your Photos for Blogging - I still haven't put this to use, as I forgot about it. If I was on my own computer now, I'd probably be practicing it. Kevin & Amanda blog have a lot of great photography tutorials, even if you're not interested in this one.

Wall Art - With electrical tape. My friend actually tried this out and it looks really cool.

Tutorial: Blogger Horizontal Navigation Bar - How to get a navigation bar at the top of your blog. I tried this and succeeded, but made mine in photoshop instead

Damn Heels - I've seen different versions of these all over since I first found this link, but I still think they're a great idea. Little flats that fit in your purse for when your heels are too much? Love.

Tutorial: Tissue Paper Pom Poms - I forgot about saving this link as well, but want to try it. They're super cute.

Create your own shoes or handbag - How is this not the coolest thing ever?

Tutorial: Diaper and Washcloth Cupcakes - Very cute, great for a baby shower.

This is a new thing I'm trying, that I'd like to keep up with. I'll call it 'Friday Recommendations' or something. The name is still a work-in-progress. I'm not good at naming things. 

What is this? Just some posts I've stumbled upon in the past week that I really enjoyed, and thought you might enjoy as well, and people who I just think deserve a little love. It's a great way to discover new blogs and read some interesting stuff.

The Poodleist let me know that Ryan Reynolds is now single. My Christmas wish come true. And her recipe for Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread cookies sounds so yummy.

What I'm Loving...

I'm taking a break from my regular Sunday guilty pleasure 'Getting to Know You'. Instead, these are some things I've been loving lately.

Get Hatched - A Disney Family website, created with Terri Hatcher. It's no secret that I'm a Desperate Housewives fan so I was definitely interested to in taking a look at this website when I saw it in the Cosmo I was reading this morning. It's definite woman website, filled with articles about just about everything. I love the cartooniness around the main page, I'm just sadened at the lack of pictures in the articles. I like to see what I'm reading about, especially when it comes to the decorating articles. I like this article on how to love your birthday.

Nivea Happy Time anti-perspirant. Strange to discuss deoderant, but the name is Happy Time, and the smell makes me happy. I just love it. I now want the lotion, the body wash, the everything.

Big Brother. Is anyone watching this? I didn't watch it much the past couple of years because of work, but this year the DVR has been a major life saver, as well as YouTube. I've heard people call it boring this year, but as usual I'm going for the underdog aka gorgeous Brendan and "no one comes between me and my man" Rachel. I love watching them pull through each week.

I'm still loving Bloons 4, the best game in the world. I wrote about it here. It's the most addicting game I've ever played.

And last but not least, my supper! Cheesy Pasta and Ragu. I will teach you to make this awesomeness, in vague form.

  Cook as much pasta as desired
• 
  
  Use as much Ragu (original is what I use, but the choice is your) as you need
• 
  
  Cook up some ground beef and add it to the sauce
• 
  
  Sprinkle the sauce and beef mixture with parmesan cheese and mix
• 
  
  Add approx. a table spoon of Velveeta cheese and stir until it's blended in
• 
  
  Serve the pasta, sprinkle with grated cheese (I used old cheddar), then spoon the sauce on top

It's so yummy.

Moan My Weather - A whole new way to listen to the weather. A girl really does moan the weather, so use at your own risk.

Go Fug Yourself - A humorous way of looking at some of the (f)ugly things celebrities wear.

Texts From Last Night - A personal favorite funny website of mine. Texts that people have sent. I find most of them pretty believable after spending so much time with my own strange friends.

Tweeting Too Hard - Some of the more 'self-important' tweets.

Totally Looks Like - Someone/something that totally looks like something/someone else. Some are pretty amusing. See how Lady Gaga totally looks like Alice in Wonderland House.

True Confessions - Anonymous user-submitted confessions. Seems like a decent way to kill time

Fail Booking - Some of the best, worst and by far the funniest of facebook.

Passive Agressive Notes - Notes from angry/annoyed people. I particularly like this one.
