I love being home

I have lost all sense of what day it is, but my 'long weekend' with my grandfather comes to an end today.

It's back to work and back to reality. I had a really good, relaxing time and I'm pretty sad to be going back to town. I don't miss it very often, but this is one of those times that I love being back home and don't want to leave.

Here's a little peek at part of my weekend - gorgeous Sunday at the beach.

Beach Day Photos

I love the beach. That is no secret. I mentioned a few days ago that I had gotten a sunburn. It wasn't all I got. I also got a few really good shots with my good camera. BAD idea, since I was on the beach. Not a big deal on your typical beautiful beach day. This was not a typical, beautiful beach day. We were being attacked by sand. The wind was crazy. We (and my camera) survived.

Here are a few shots I got that day of the little nephew running around.

Hope to have another beach day soon. This time with a bit more sunblock!
